The short version

No third-party trackers, no analytics services, no ad networks. No accounts.

Visit counts

We count page views with a first-party, cookie-less counter: your IP is hashed with a rotating salt, so we can tell "one visitor saw 3 pages" without storing IPs or tracking you across visits or sites. Sessions are random IDs kept in memory for up to 30 minutes of browsing. Nothing leaves our server.

Voting and submissions

Votes bind to an anonymous browser token stored in your browser's local storage plus a proof-of-work (a small computation that costs a bot more than a human). The token is stored hashed. If you give a nickname with a submission, that pseudonym shows on the leaderboard - nothing else.

Newsletter and push

Email alerts store your address and store picks only, double opt-in, one-click unsubscribe. Browser push stores only the subscription handle the browser generates.

Outbound links

Clicks on /go/ links are counted as aggregates (day, device type). The destination does not learn your path through this site from us (referrer policy: no-referrer).
